Church and school parking lots get heavy use at the same times every week: Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, school drop-off and pickup. When lines fade and cracks spread, those busy times get confusing and less safe. Boca Brothers keeps church and school lots in San Antonio clean, black and clearly marked.
Scheduled around your calendar
We plan the work for when your lot is empty. For churches, that usually means Monday through Thursday, finished well before weekend services. For schools, we can work on weekends, holidays or during summer break. Larger lots can be done in sections so nothing important has to be canceled.
Safety markings that matter
- Crosswalks and walkways so families can safely walk from car to building
- Drop-off and pickup lanes with arrows and stop bars to keep car lines moving
- Accessible parking close to the entrance, with the right number of spaces for the size of your lot
- Fire lanes and painted curbs kept clear and visible
- Bus and visitor areas marked with stencils so everyone knows where to go
Stretching a tight budget
Most churches and schools have to make every dollar count. Crack sealing and sealcoating cost a small fraction of repaving and can add years of life to your lot. If the full job is too much for one year, we can split it into phases, such as sealing cracks and restriping now and sealcoating next year. You get a written quote for each phase so your committee or board can decide.
How we handle the job
- We walk the lot with your facilities person or pastor and measure everything.
- You get a written quote and a proposed schedule.
- We seal cracks, sealcoat in two full coats and restripe, in that order.
- One of the brothers checks the work before we call it done.
Common questions
Can you finish before Sunday?
Yes. For most church lots, we schedule the work early in the week so the sealcoat is cured and the new lines are down well before weekend services.
Can you work during summer break?
Yes. Summer is a great time for school lots. We can also work weekends and holidays during the school year.
Can the work be split over two budget years?
Yes. We can phase the work, for example crack sealing and restriping this year and sealcoating next year, with a separate written quote for each phase.
Do you check our accessible parking?
Yes. When we restripe, we check that you have the right number of accessible spaces for the size of your lot and that they are marked near the entrance.
Do you add crosswalks and drop-off lanes?
Yes. We paint crosswalks, stop bars, arrows and stencils to keep drop-off and pickup lines safe and moving.
